Casey Meacham_8754-p…Casey Meacham, of Jet Set Design, was the Logo Contest winner for the Greater Wesley Chapel Chamber of Commerce.  The “C” of Chapel resembles a hole on a golf course and there’s palm trees, and birds.

 

Martine Duncan_8749-p…The Greater Wesley Chapel Chamber of Commerce introduced newly elected board members at the mixer held at Lexington Oaks Golf Club on July 19. They include (from left): Martine Duncan, of The Theater Doctor, Peter Hanzel, of the Wesley Chapel Republican Club, Will Weatherford, Florida State Representative District 61, Ray Bonti, Principal of Wiregrass Ranch High School, Larry Parker, of Cork & Olive, and David West, of The Tampa Tribune.  Missing from the photo is Stephanie Watts, of the St. Petersburg Times. 

 

Martine Duncan_8768…Martine Duncan, of the Theater Doctor, is the new Honorary Mayor of Wesley Chapel.  She was introduced by outgoing Honorary Mayor Sharon Rogers at the mixer held at Lexington Oaks Golf Club on July 19.

The Greater Wesley Chapel Chamber of Commerce announced their new Honorary Mayor and introduced newly elected board members at the mixer held at Lexington Oaks Golf Club on July 19.  The new logo was also unveiled. The mixer was hosted by Lexington Oaks and Y.E.S Pasco and was attended by many members who indulged in a great spread of food. Executive Director of the Chamber, Jason Wilson, emceed the evening and introduced Dr. Randall Stovall, Chairman of the Chamber Board of Directors, who made the first announcement of the evening introducing the seven new board members. They include: Stephanie Watts, of the St. Petersburg Times, Will Weatherford, Florida State Representative District 61, Larry Parker, of Cork & Olive, Martine Duncan, of The Theater Doctor, David West, of The Tampa Tribune, Peter Hanzel, of the Wesley Chapel Republican Club, and Ray Bonti, Principal of Wiregrass Ranch High School. For several months the Chamber had an ongoing Logo Contest to replace the current logo. Chamber President Devin Collins, introduced the Logo Contest winner, Casey Meachum, of Jet Set Design, who unveiled the Logo.  The highlight of the evening was when outgoing Honorary Mayor Sharon Rogers announced the new Honorary Mayor of Wesley Chapel was Martine Duncan, of the Theater Doctor. Outgoing Honorary Deputy Mayor Sheri Goldberg announced that Rene Van Hout, of LOL Transport & Moving was the new Honorary Deputy Mayor.  The candidates raised a total of $4200 for the chamber.
