Pasco County Welcomes Home the Men of the Florida National Guard Battery B

Flag returns 2877… The Flag that was presented to the men by Congresswoman Ginny Brown-Waite upon their departure and flew over their camp in Afghanistan, finally returns thankfully, with all the men that left that day. By Anthony Masella Jr. 

Ginny Brown-Waite 2872…Congresswoman Ginny Brown-Waite thanks the men of the Florida National Guard who served in Afghanistan and Iraq, with a Congressional Proclamation, Individual Citations and a stone memorial inscribed with the names of guards who served overseas. By Anthony Masella Jr. 

 Nicholas D’Amore 2925…Nicholas D’Amore, Boy Scout Troop 311, Gulf Ridge Council and San Antonio Elementary student proudly hold his Flag, autographed by his new Hero, Staff Sgt. Myers. By Anthony Masella Jr.

Welcome Home National Guard Concert

 Coy Fincher 3036… Coy Fincher, left, welcomes Chad Brock of WQYK 99.5 “Tampa Bay’s Country Station”, to sing with his band, Pure Country Gold of Zephyrhills, for the crowd at Donald McBath Activity Center at Pasco High. Many performers including Zephyrhills’ own Ashley Shannon helped entertain the troops and their families and raising money for the memorial that will cost $3,000.  By Anthony Masella Jr.
