Stuff A Bus
for Teachers |
| |
United Way of Pasco County is proud to present the inaugural
“Stuff the Bus for Teachers” school supply drive for Pasco
County teachers. This community wide event brings much
needed school supplies to the teachers and their classrooms.
By helping the teachers, we are able to let them focus on
what’s important – our children!
When our children are successful in school, we all
win. They go on to become productive citizens and give back
to the community, which benefits everyone.
The teachers are there for our children, and we all
need to be there for our teachers.
On the weekend of July 29, 30 & 31, 2011, United Way of
Pasco County is partnering with Publix, Wal-Mart, The Pasco
County School Board, One Community Now and many other local
businesses and organizations to make this event a success.
School buses will be parked at 15 locations throughout Pasco
County for shoppers to buy supplies and stuff ‘em in the
bus.
Teachers and volunteers will be on hand from 11:00am to
5:00pm each day to give out shopping lists and to load the
buses.
