Pine View MS 30th Anniversary

Click >>> Here

The staff at Pine View Middle School planned the 30th Anniversary of the school for one year.  They wanted to make sure that everything turned out perfect.  A good crowd showed up for some great food and a chance to see former teachers and administrators-many that started out their careers at the school. When Principal Kim Anderson started out the evening she greeted everyone and said that it was like a Homecoming and that all Homecoming’s needed a Queen so she presented Spanish Teacher Bertha Juanpere a crown and cape since she is the only one who has been at the school the entire thirty years.  If the average is 300 children in each eighth grade graduating class, approximately 9,000 children have passed through the halls of Pine View Middle School.

Superintendent Heather Fiorentino spoke, as did former Principal Dave Estabrook who is currently the Principal at Chuck Rushe Middle School.  Outside the gymnasium there are now Panther paw prints in the sidewalk around the oak tree with names of the teachers who have retired from the school. Pictured are (from left): Ben Pabst and Brandon Bracciale, Pine View Assistant Principals, Spanish Teacher Bertha Juanpere, Principal Kim Anderson, Weightman Middle School Principal Shae Davis, who was an Assistant Principal at Pine View, Chuck Rushe Middle School Principal Dave Estabrook, and Tina Tiede, Assistant Superintendent of Middle Schools, who started her career at Pine View.

The event to support kids fighting severe food allergies like peanuts and nuts, was the idea of Ronnie Rivera President of Amazinflates, a party rental company. His oldest son is five and has severe food allergies like peanuts, tree nuts, soy to name a few and he has to carry an Epipen everywhere that he goes. His condition could be life threatening. He is a major reason that my company decided to support this charity” said Rivera.
