The Gingerbread Cottage hosted a Ribbon Cutting with the Greater Wesley Chapel Chamber of Commerce for the Theater Doctor in Wesley Chapel recently. In addition to the ribbon cutting, there was a food drive, a Kids Station, a 3D demo with music, light refreshments and door prize giveaways! | SuperPro Driver Mark Ciechowski, Pro Driver Chris Adams, Sportsman Driver Kevin Roberts and Pro Bike Driver Roy Hagadorn from local NHRA sanctioned tracks, Sunshine Dragstrip in Clearwater and sister track Bradenton Motorsports Park in Bradenton swept the Race of Champions at the NHRA GatorNationals. Track Champion Drivers from all over the southeast competed but went down one by one as these drivers, considered the best of the best, took home the NHRA Wally trophy, the most prestigious in the sport. | Habitat for Humanity of East & Central Pasco celebrated the completion of construction on a home, in Land O' Lakes at a dedication ceremony Saturday, March 12, 2011 on Spokane Road. The new homeowner, Kristi Bourne, tearfully thanked all those who worked so hard to help her reach this goal. A group of students from Penn State traveled here to work on Habitat homes during their Spring Break. They helped put the finishing touches on this home and were present for the dedication. | Regional Championship | |

| Wesley Chapel High School Junior Nick Popolillo won the 152 lb Regional Championship, qualifying for the State Wresting Tournament. Nick beat two top 15 ranked wrestlers and won the tournament with an overtime victory. Only the top four wrestlers from the Regional Tournament advanced to the state competition.
